At Fun ‘n’ Seek, we believe every child is a unique individual. Our warm, caring, and safe atmosphere ensures every child feels welcomed and valued.
Holistic Learning, Play & Exploration
Holistic learning plays a vital role in our Centre. We strive to give our Tamariki the space, time, and opportunity for meaningful learning experiences. We promote the right for each child to reach their full potential by allowing them to experiment, explore their environment, and develop working theories. We believe through “True Play, Explore & Grow Learning”, Tamariki develop valuable life-long skills, becoming confident, competent learners.
Community and Family (Whānau)
Through collaboration, our Centre fosters authentic friendships within the community and with local Whānau. We want all Parents and Whānau to feel at home here by being open, trusting, and responsive to their needs. It is essential to value and respect the unique knowledge and contributions of Whānau in the decision-making process regarding their children’s care and education. This ensures we provide an environment demonstrating equity, integrity, inclusivity, and respect for all.
Professional Standards and Conduct
As professional Teachers, we are always guided by the Teacher’s Council Aotearoa Professional standards and the Early Childhood Curriculum Te Whāriki. For us, professionalism is the standard we measure ourselves by. We demonstrate this through our positive relationships, conduct, communication, and partnerships with colleagues and parents.
